BUILDING A BRIDGE BETWEEN SITUATION AND SUCCESS TO EMPOWER WOMEN AND STRENGTHEN FAMILIES.Each of us faces situations in which we must set boundaries, financially or emotionally. It's time to take the limits off and trust God. Just because you don't see a way doesn't mean that God doesn't have a way. We established this website to link Northwest Arkansas with the needs of single and low income mothers that are going through transition and tough times in our community, that need our help, encouragement, support, and guidance on their path to self sufficiency We welcome you and encourage you to experience the Cause by helping us take on the battle. Together, we CAN make a difference in the lives of many.

PEACE We all need peace. For some a tough situation feels like the end of the world. I believe that we all deserve the opportunity to be sucessful. So What Is Peace? God has placed it on my heart for a long time to build a facility for women that have no where else to turn. I have been swamped in the last month with women in various situations that have no where to go. 70% of shelters in NWA are for men, and those that are for women are full with a waiting list or have restrictions that wont allow these women to stay there. I have been praying about this, and the more I pray the more calls for help I receive. God has put two wonderful women, Arlene Jones and Ana Magana, in my life that have the same vision about making a difference in women's lives through a transitional facility for women. These women will include homeless, abused, and parolees. This facility will provide mentor-ship, job training, parenting, life skills, and of course spiritual enrichment along with any other resource that may be available to them. We would like to establish a food pantry and soup kitchen, not just for residents but also anyone needing a hot meal.
The possibilities are endless and the need is enormous.
I want to share with you the story of a mother that was referred to me:
Veronica is the mother of 3 children. A 2 year old son and a set of 1 month old twins that were born preemie. One of the twin babies is on a heart monitor and has to be seen by a heart specialist at the Children's hospital. Veronica's husband has abandoned them and she can not work because during delivery of the twins her L4 Vertebrae broke. She doesn't have family to help her, and her baby is due in Little Rock to see the doctor. She is homeless and has no money to get her baby to Little Rock, she has no where to call home for her 3 children. She has called all the women's shelters in the area and all are full or she don't qualify because she has 3 children. She is currently staying with a couple in Bentonville that have generously opened their home to her.
This is just ONE example of the struggles in our community. This facility will be called PEACE, because for many, they have not had the opportunity to know what it is like to be at peace and they will have the opportunity to piece their lives back together. I'd like to ask that you consider being apart of this team as we move forward to make a difference in the lives of MANY. If you feel that you can help in any capacity (knowledge, training, financial, fund raising, prayer) please let us know. We thank you for your extended prayers and your support of our community.
Where there is Breath.. there is HOPE, and where there is HOPE there shall be PEACE.
